Brandon Jordan Brown is an artist born in Birmingham, AL and living in Portland, OR. He is a recipient of a PEN America Emerging Voices Fellowship and winner of the Orison Anthology Poetry Prize. Brandon’s poems have appeared in West Branch; RHINO Poetry; The Journal; Sycamore Review; Scalawag; Yemassee; Moss: A Journal of the Pacific Northwest; Birmingham Poetry Review; Winter Tangerine Review; Tinderbox Poetry Journal; Grist; Forklift, Ohio and Radar Poetry, among others. His textile art has been featured at Sow & Taylor art gallery in Los Angeles, and his poetry-films have been selected to screen at Seattle’s Cadence: Video Poetry Festival and across the US.
