Creativity can be elusive. And ideas are often fleeting. If we can remain open, staying deeply engaged with our environment, we might just catch a glimpse of the countless floating fragments of ideas, waiting to be born.
“Spark” is a collaborative art installation by Terry Holloway and Cari Ingrassia. This interactive installation is made up of over 100 motion activated LED lights that are triggered as the viewer walks around the piece, illuminating small pouches of “ideas.” If the viewer stands still for too long lights will fade out prompting the viewer to explore and experiment with the triggers.
