Here is a quick rundown of what to expect at Pickathon 2022.

Whether you drive, shuttle or bike to Pickathon the first step is always the same: arrive at the Festival Check-In Area (directly across Hagen Road from the festival site) to get your pass and wristband(s) for the festival. If you’re camping in a group of more than one person, have one person pick up the wristbands and the other person(s) drop off your camping gear at the Snowpeak Camp Host Headquarters in the same lot. You can park here and offload gear temporarily if you’re driving, but this is not the actual parking lot and we need to keep traffic moving. With all the development around Pickathon, car parking is in a new area and it will likely be bumpier than before (check out our parking map now to get familiar with the change). If you are bicycling to Pickathon or taking the shuttle, you’ll be dropped off at the Festival Check-In Area to pick up passes and get oriented. If you purchased car camping, RV camping, or Snowpeak camping amenities, you’ll be guided to those areas.

Once you’ve checked in, dropped your gear, and received your wristbands and car parking pass (non-stick clinging sticker for your windshield), you can drive to the new parking lot and easily walk back to the Camp Host Headquarters where you left your gear. From there, our friendly hosts (in the welcoming shade) will help you find the best places to camp on the festival grounds and will show you where to carry your camping gear in (there’s a new entrance for campers). Let the camp host know if you or your party have mobility issues and they will be able to assist you with a gear shuttle.

Camping at Pickathon is spread throughout the grounds and is placed on gently sloped hills. You will follow lights and signs through the forest and the Snowpeak Camp Host can suggest certain camping areas that are more available than others. We suggest arriving as early as you can to get a good spot and plan to hike for a bit to find your new festival home, as the closer camping grounds fill up as it gets later into the weekend. Smaller tents usually find good camping nooks, so if you are a larger group or family, think about tent size and options that could help you best fit. We work very hard to make sure that everyone with a weekend ticket can find a decent place to pitch their tent. Being neighborly and mindful of your footprint goes a very long way. Arriving on Thursday is always going to provide the most ideal camping locations.

Once you’re settled in, it’s time to explore our magnificent grounds and choose your Pickathon adventure! Music and activities begin Thursday afternoon and continue on through Sunday night. Print and bring a copy of the Pickathon 2022 Map, as this will help you familiarize yourself with the Pendarvis Farm layout. This will also give you an idea of what amenities we have to offer at the festival including showers, wellness & medical locations, food and beverage vendors, free drinking water spigots, dish return & washing stations, ADA camping, port-o-potties, ATM, artist & festival merchandise, and locations of available camping options. Please make special note of where the medical tent is located. Blisters, bee stings and anything more serious should go to the medical tent.  We have hand-picked craft vendors and a veritable cornucopia of the finest food and beverage vendors in Oregon ready for you to enjoy, awe-inspiring art installations to marvel at (and interact with!) and so much more. Welcome to “Pendarvia”!
