Thinking that it’s a good time to get going on letting out a few lineup leaks. My first installment is co-purposed as we have the good-graces on our side for this fabulous Northwest Winter. Much like Santa – Langhorne Slim is coming to town…for close to two-weeks, all over Oregon..and a little dip to the North with our friends in WA.
The McMenamins Great Northwest Music Tour gives the band a good run from January 17-27. All the shows are Free. The last night of the Tour winds up at the Crystal Ballroom for their 94th Birthday Free-for-All. There is a lot in-store for that day – so look over the schedule to know the when and where. Pickathon will host Happy Hour from 3-7pm in Ringlers with Sassparilla Jugband, the Old Believers, and Cross-Eyed Rosie. Slim and the War Eagles take the ballroom stage at 7pm.
We are also pleased to have Langhorne back at the 2008 Pickathon, and prior to that the band has a new record due out April 29 – so expect to hear more throughout the summer.
Take a good look at two-sided Slim:
