Big news came our way late last week with the call that the legendary Billy Joe Shaver needed to cancel his 2010 Pickathon performances. Anyone that has followed the Shaver story this past year knows the man has had his hands full. First the trial in Waco, TX, then heart surgery just three weeks ago, and now another set back with severely torn ligaments that will now take him off the road for several months. This left us scratching our heads in confusion and wondering what’s next?

With luck, we were able to get Hayes Carll, fellow Texan and songwriter to help fill this void. In a last minute pinch we couldn’t be happier with the outcome as Hayes has been an artist that has had our interest for a few years.

We welcome Hayes and his full band to this years lineup and look forward to catching up with him in just two short weeks.

The bells are ringing here in the ticketing office with the final countdown for Advance Tickets in full swing. Get them now while still available. Weather looks to be great and the farm is already taking on the big transformation.
