Due to the recent and unfortunate cancellation from Rock Plaza Central (sorry to see you go!), we’ve had to take a new look at filling this void in the 2011 Pickathon Schedule. Which means, awe dang, we need to wait a bit longer prior to posting this info on the website.

While we wait, at least a few of our own personal highlights…

The Galaxy Barn – Late nights with Black Mountain, Lee Fields & The Expressions, Thao with The Get Down Stay Down, The Sadies, Wye Oak, Future Islands, Pine Leaf Boys, Richard Swift, AgesandAges, The Builders and The Butchers, and many-many more.

The Woods Stage – Bill Callahan, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Laura Veirs, Fruit Bats, Jesse Sykes & The Sweet Hereafter, Danny Barnes, Grupo Fantasma, The Wilders, and many-many more.

The Starlight Stage – Califone, Pokey LaFarge, Damien Jurado, Vetiver, Lightning Dust, Cahalen Morrison & Eli West, plus others.

Workshop Barn – Mavis Staples, The Sadies, Thao, Bruce Molsky, Corinne West & Kelly Joe Phelps, L.C. Ulmer, Michael Hurley, plus others.

Mountain View and Fir Meadows Stages – Pretty much everyone on the 2011 Lineup plays either one of these stages during the weekend. The big 2011 Pickathon Squaredance will commence on Friday Night as usual, this year with Old Sledge.

Oh and we may as well say it again… If you have not already purchased your Weekend Tickets, we suggest you do-so-now. It will a shock to some if we sell-out in advance, and we also do not count on having many tickets available at the gate. Plan ahead!
