Here comes 2012…

First of all, we are super excited to begin getting things fired up for 2012 Pickathon!! Summer seems forever ago and our time to kick things over for the new year is near. Get the chalk and put it on the board as March 6 will be the first big 2012 Pickathon announcement and ticket on-sale. Included with that will be well over two-thirds of this years lineup and the first available wave of weekend tickets and parking passes.

About capacity and tickets…

If you remember back to October, Pickathon asked how we should grow. There was plenty of great feedback, and from your input the direction is clear for us in 2012: Pickathon will commit to minimizing audience growth this year and will be scaling the prices accordingly with Weekend Tickets starting at $175 on March 6. This delicate balance of cost and capacity in the end allows Pickathon to provide a comfortable, world-class event for everyone that attends.

Plan accordingly…

Pickathon will most likely sell-out well in advance of the festival weekend and we appreciate your help in making this the best festival experience of the year. Starting March 6 we will make available a limited allotment of 2012 Pickathon Weekend Tickets and Parking Passes. Information on General Parking, RV Parking, and Car Camping will be available prior to the ticket on-sale date. Make sure you check back for this information as it could be vital when deciding what type of Pickathon Parking Pass is right for you.

Here is a tip…what we can say is that there will be ‘some’ news prior to March 6, but what we can’t say is where and when this news will debut.
