Pickathon has recently been awarded the ‘Special Award’ from the Association Of Oregon Recyclers as part of their annual ‘Recyclers of the Year’ awards.

I did have a speech prepared…

First off we would like thank our director of recycling, waste, and composting – Jake Hofeld. You rule Jake and the job you do is critical. In addition to Jake, we feel it necessary to also give mention of his crack team of hard working volunteers. Way to go!

Beyond the crew, we want to turn it around and thank each and every one of you. Y’all care and it’s evident by the condition you help leave Pendarvis Farm in. We appreciate you, Scott & Sherry Pendarvis appreciate you, and you too should appreciate one another. Good job team, lets do it again in 2014.

And finally, thankfully for us all, we’re nothing even remotely close in comparison to the outcome of the recent Reading Festival in the UK….
