For those who choose to get their drink on at Pickathon, we’ve got some amazing selections of beer, cider, wine, and spirits. And of course, true to our commitment to locally-sourced goods, all drinks at Pickathon are proudly made right here in Oregon.
BREWS
At the Galaxy Barn, fill up yer Kleen Kanteen cup with Base Camp’s Ripstop Rye Pils or Hop in the ‘Pool Late Hop Helles. And at the Woods Stage, try out Fort George’s Spruce Budd Ale or Overdub IPA (Ronnie and Tim from Team Pickathon helped Piper from the brewery make this batch, so it’s extra-special!).
Plus, you can also try out brews from Gigantic, Deschutes, Laurelwood, Good Life, Hop Valley, Migration, Gilgamesh, Crux, Three Creeks, Commons, Pelican, Worthy, all over the farm at various beer gardens and food areas. We’ve got limited batches from so many more breweries, so check out our website for the full list.
CIDERS
We’re stoked to welcome a number of these delicious cider makers back to the farm this year! Cascadia’s dry cider will be available in the Galaxy Barn. And Anthem’s got two types of fruit ciders (pear and cherry), its traditional offering, and a hops version ready by the Woods Stage.
Additionally, WildCraft Cider Works will have its Wild Rose Cider, Swift Cider will bring its Wholesome Apple Cider, Reverend Nat’s Hard Cider will share its Rev Nat’s Revival cider, and Wandering Aengus Cider Works will offer its Newtown Pippin Single Varietal Cider.
WINES
For those who prefer the fruit of the vine, we’ve got five different local wineries representing at Pickathon this year. Dominio Wines joins us out at the Woods Stage with Vitis-Camellia, and elsewhere around the farm, you can be sure to find Harper Voit’s 2011 pinot noir, Eisold Smith’s 2013 pinot noir, Guild’s 2012 red wine and 2013 chardonnay, as well as Matzinger Davies Wine Company’s 2010 Eola Amity pinot noir.
SPIRITS AND MIXERS
We’ve not only recruited top shelf mixologists, but we will also have drinks from local distilleries. Find your New Deal Distillery cocktails, some even made with local cranberry mixers from Starvation Alley, out at the Woods Stage and get down with Dogwood Distilling each night at the Galaxy Barn.
COFFEE, TEA, KOMBUCHA
Finally, for those of us who just need a little boost in the morning (or after a hot set in the sun), Pickathon’s got the caffeine fixes you need. Stumptown Coffee will have even more locations on site with plenty of espresso and cold brew and Townshend’s Tea will have Brew Dr. Kombucha on hand, too.
And we mention that Stumptown is also giving away a pair of weekend passes? All ya have to do is enter your email address here.
