Black Pumas are a psychedelic soul group based in Austin, TX, a new combination of singer Eric Burton and producer Adrian Quesada. We’ve been waiting to find out what this combo would bring us, and today they’ve delivered with releasing the first single and announcing their debut album which will come out later this summer on Colemine Records.

Adrian Quesada is on a very short list of folks who have performed at Pickathon in more than a few different groups. First with Grupo Fantasma, then Brownout, then Spanish Gold, and this year with both Glorietta (more on them later) and Black Pumas. When Adrian sends us new music, we listen.
