One of the many things that makes Pickathon so special is our amazingly large, and even more amazingly dedicated, volunteer community! Every year the best of the best come out of the woodwork to make the festival even better than it was the year before.

A lot of festivals have volunteer programs, but what makes ours unique is just how many folks who attend the festival are volunteer. We work with about 1,500 people, which means that one out of every four or five festival-attendees is a volunteer. It goes without saying, but we’ll say it anyway – Pickathon would not be what it is without our volunteer community!

Volunteers help with everything from setup to safety, pouring drinks, slinging merch, keeping things clean, and even filming live sets! In exchange for 12-18 hours of time, Pickathon volunteers receive a weekend pass to the festival. Volunteer passes include camping, but do not include Parking Passes or Early Thursday Entry. There are volunteer shifts during the festival, as well as before and after the festival if you want to be free to see music all weekend long!
