First, we want to thank everyone for their kind messages and support as we apply for our festival permit with Happy Valley. If you haven’t had a chance to send a letter of support, please take a minute and let your voice be heard by our friends at the City of Happy Valley. While we wait for our permit, we have some really exciting news! Pickathon will be curating a new venue called The Showdown Saloon!! That’s right, we will be bringing new artists to our “cultural incubator” for you, our community, to check out. We love the saying “we saw them when” and we want to celebrate it with you.
Now you don’t have to wait until August every year to discover new music, hang out with your campsite clan, or dance the night away. It only took us 25 years of wanting the party to last all year to do something about it. We are so excited that we stacked February with an amazing lineup.

With a large dance floor, we had to bring a Pickathon square dance to this shindig. On Mondays we will have Line Dancing, Two Step and Square Dancing lessons followed by, you guessed it, some dancing. Additionally, on Tuesday nights we’ll host the best country DJs in the Northwest, spinning all your favorite classic, outlaw and real country hits. We could stop there, but why would we?
On Wednesdays, we will be hosting some amazing bluegrass pickin’ and you can finish off your weekend with the local stars in the country scene. Each Sunday, we’ll be shining our spotlight on a local artist to strum you into the week ahead. So shine those boots, throw on your pearl buttoned shirt, and dust off your cowboy hat, we have some dancing to do (maybe even a little whiskey drinkin’).
