The lush forest of Pendarvis Farm provides the perfect backdrop for the festival. As you walk through the grounds, you’ll see people building stages, setting up tents, and hauling materials. Neighborhoods are starting to take shape, each with its unique charm and character. The atmosphere is buzzing with creativity and teamwork as ideas are brainstormed and brought to life.
Pickathon is more than just a music festival; it’s a community. The pre-fest people here are not just working; they’re connecting with one another, building friendships, and sharing their passion for music and nature. In the Lucky Barn, you’ll find volunteers and crew members eating good food, smiling, and enjoying the company of their fellow Pickathoners. Even the dogs are part of the fun, chilling in the barn and playing in the open fields.
The pre-fest build-out is a testament to the dedication and hard work of all the amazing people involved. From brainstorming sessions to physically building stages and structures, the teamwork on display is inspiring. There’s lots of lumber being moved, stages being constructed, and neighborhoods coming together. The farm is buzzing with activity, and it’s all in preparation for the unforgettable experiences that Pickathon promises to deliver.
