This masterful architecture of the air is the brainchild of Mar Ricketts of GuildWorks and installed by the devoted, hard-working Sky Crew in the weeks leading up to the festival.
To date, their crafts(wo)manship at Pickathon is still one of the largest temporary festival tension structures in the world. How’s that for qualifiers? Here are some more interesting facts: In 2015, the shade structure consisted of 200,000 square feet of fabric and 12 miles of rope.
