Mic Capes dropped in to the Pumphouse last August to drop this track, “No More” along with DJ and producer, Drae Slapz. The song talks about Mic’s dreams for success, but the entire album and scope of Mic’s work is focused on maintaining positivity, hope and ambition.
A few weeks after the festival in late August, Mic and Drae released a 5-track EP, Sheesh. You can read more about it from Portland Mercury here, and check out Sheesh and Mic’s 2016 album, Concrete Dreams, here.
“This is for them kids on free and reduced lunches
Chasin’ their dreams from the real life to the numbers
Don’t let ’em say you can’t use your heart as a compass.”
Enjoy, friends. Onward and upward ♥
