This August 1st-4th is Pickathon’s diverse presentation for music, spoken-word, social gathering and family adventure. Intertwined within an atmosphere of sustainability and inclusivity just outside of Portland in Happy Valley, Pickathon produces a renown multi-experience musical event, considered one of the best in the nation. In this wooded farm setting, the Pickathon team brings another facet to the field by presenting art installations.
With an advocacy for regional businesses, the Pickathon team invites the talented people of creative firms, with any specialty, to submit proposals for the 2019’s Community Art Installations. You are encouraged to include in your proposal the themes of community, interactivity and/or sustainability. Simply follow the guidelines presented in our information sheet for submissions. In the information sheet is a link leading to the application form, which should be submitted by May 15th.
For participating in the festival, Pickathon offers unique coverage of the installations through video documentation, website listing and social media updates. This is a fantastic opportunity of exposure through Pickathon’s broadcasting network and through the potentials of national recognition for firms and their internal talents.
