Curated by Matt Wagner of Hellion Gallery, here’s a sneak peek at the design concept for the Galaxy Barn this year at Pickathon! Matt says, “Rockets, cowgirls, and cactus reign supreme this year. These elements will be used throughout the area to give that 50’s desert vibe with a look towards the future of space travel. I wanted folks to feel nostalgic for a time and place where you could drive through the desert in your DeSoto station wagon with a cowgirl as your co-pilot, and have rockets and cacti flying by your rolled down window.”
