A cold drink in a Pickathon stainless steel reusable pint cup on a hot day is the quintessential Pickathon experience. This year, we’re proud to bring a whole host of beverage options to the festival. From national brands to indie brewers, craft cocktails to homebrewed coffee, crisp cider to powerful spirits, bubbly kombucha, and new non-alcoholic drinks, we’ve got a world of libations to tickle your fancy!
This year’s Beverage Lineup is expertly curated by Nicole Kasten. Get ready for a weekend of delicious drinks!
Nicole Kasten is a brewery coach based in Portland, OR. She travels across the USA visiting breweries, bringing back knowledge she learned on the road. After years in Healthcare IT, she became a brewery consultant, helping brewers become successful business owners. Nicole is a Co-Chair for Brews for New Avenues and a Portland Beer Week Executive, contributing her expertise to numerous beer events in the Pacific Northwest. Nicole’s goal has always been to get more people drinking more craft beer.
As the new Beverage Director for Pickathon, Nicole is excited to join in the fun with Spirit, Wine, Beer, and Non-Alcoholic partners. Her ability to work with purveyors, staff, and volunteers to provide guests with experiences that make lasting memories is her primary motivation.
“There is no festival that compares to Pickathon when it comes to giving people the ability to tell stories for years to come. Everyone walks away from Pickathon a better person because they experienced music, art, design, food, and beverage that all come together in one harmonious weekend. I’m grateful to contribute to such a one-of-a-kind event.”

What’s On The Menu?
With bars across most of the Neighborhoods at Pickathon, our beer options are spread far and wide at the festival.
Portland and the Pacific Northwest are both home to a wildly vibrant cider scene, and Pickathon has been known for curating the best and most innovative cideries for festival-goers. So many cideries to choose from!
This year, we’re excited to introduce a new multi-shop coffee model at Pickathon 2024, a cool new departure from previous years. Partnering with Proud Mary, Coava, and Guilder Coffee, our Coffee Tech Barista Mentor Program offers first-job training for aspiring baristas. This program will kick off at Pickathon and expand throughout the year, mentoring the next generation of baristas.
To enhance your coffee experience and alleviate the lines that have been an issue in the past, we will have two checkouts: one for drip coffee and one for specialty drinks. This change is designed to ensure a smoother and more efficient service for everyone.
In addition, tips from our coffee sales will support our “Creative Neighborhoods” initiative, helping to get our community programs off the ground.

La Vieille Ferme has been popular with wine lovers for over 40 years. Produced in a peaceful and sunny region of the Southern Rhône, each colour is an expression of its terroir: the Ventoux brings elegance and structure to the red wines; the altitude of the Luberon brings freshness and finesse to the whites and rosés. La Vieille Ferme is made with great care and integrity by Famille Perrin, proprietors of Chateau de Beaucastel. Top wine critics around the world have praised the producers of this wine for its irreproachable quality, which has achieved international recognition.
La Vieille Ferme is ideal for an enjoyable moment with friends and is a faultless food pairing.
Back again! Lolo Hops are sparkling, non-alcoholic refreshments that deliver more flavor and function than the average bubbly water. Our recipes begin with a blend of whole-plant Pacific Northwest hemp and hops. Our botanically inspired drinks are crafted to enhance the aroma, taste, and efficacy of our whole plant ingredients. All natural ingredients and modern alchemy result in bright and balanced refreshers that relax, restore, and renew. Inspired flavor combinations are versatile and satisfying while low in calories and sugar. Our current offerings include four unique hemp-infused flavors and three hops-infused varieties. Each of our original blends creatively reinforces the natural herbal, floral, and citrus characteristics of the hemp and hops.

In 2002 Patrick started Dominio IV wines. Leigh was skeptical but filled with the elixir of youth and agreed to the naïve affair of the winery and vineyard. After hopping fences for several years with shovel in hand to see if the soil were excellent “grape land”, Patrick found Three Sleeps Vineyard on a 3×5 note card at the corner store and soon planted Leigh’s parents, Liz and Glenn Bartholomew, at the vineyard in Mosier, Oregon.
In 2016, with the partnership of family friend Scott Burg, Patrick embarked on a great journey in Carlton, Oregon on “the Farm”. Supported by the help of Leigh in the vineyard, long-time Associate Winemaker Ryan Kelly-Burnett in the cellar, and a wonderful team in the tasting room, Patrick is blessed.
Enjoying the people and culture of wine has made for a rewarding 25 plus vintages for Patrick focusing on terroir expressing wines and unique small lots. In his free time, Patrick coaches and plays soccer, hikes, skis, paints, gardens and hangs out with his wife, Leigh and two boys, Finigan and Quincy.
