Every year, Pickathon welcomes a new animal into our story. It represents the energy of the moment and the world we are building together.

For 2026, we chose a creature that represents the power of the leap.

MEET THE PICKATHON FROG.

Modeled after the Pacific Tree Frog native to Oregon, this year’s symbol is a master of two worlds. Frogs belong to the land and the water equally. They remind us that we don’t have to fit into just one box; we can thrive in the connection between things.

There is something joyful, and perhaps a little absurd, about the frog.

When the world feels heavy or still, the frog doesn’t harden. It waits, it watches, and then—it leaps. It is a symbol of kinetic energy. It’s the choice to move and dance, even when the rest of the woods are quiet.

A single Pacific Tree Frog is small, but a chorus of them is undeniable. They find strength in numbers. This summer, we return to the farm to raise our own chorus, bringing people together to build something loud and beautiful.
