This upcoming Saturday many of us may find ourselves amongst the rest of the ‘artifact’ hunters out there in the music universe. Going to our favorite local record store(s) and picking up one or a few special releases that found their way on our lists. It’s April, and this can only mean we’re getting that much closer to yet another Record Store Day.

I am not going to get into reasons why you would or would not come out, and for today I merely want to make a ‘wish list’, one that if I had my way without any financial limitations… this is what I’d try to come home with. Many old favorites being repressed as well as several new one-off collaborations. The one thing I will say is that beyond all else, Record Store Day has allowed a new form of creativity with releases and the listeners/collectors out there are certainly the ones that benefit.
