Jonny’s Day Out is a 5-piece rock band from Portland, OR. Between their tender washed-out ambient passages that fall into sweet horn melodies and their blaring wall of wailing guitars and passionate shouts, Jonny’s Day Out rides the fine line of emotional extremes. Coming from Jazz, Classical and Folk backgrounds, the Portland five-piece creates a live experience that never stays still for too long. The group’s debut album “JDO” is an amalgamation of everything they have worked towards and was produced by Portland’s Graham Johnson a.k.a. “quickly, quickly”. It will be out everywhere this May.
