Renae Roemmich thought everyone’s therapist told them they should be a stand-up comedian; she has since been corrected. Diagnosed dyslexic as a child and told by professionals she would likely never graduate high school, she has a proven record of overcoming structural obstacles through grit, creativity, and learning. She somehow has a master’s degree in data analytics, refers to her personal style as “glitter butch”, and has too many bad first date stories. Renae can be found every spring paddling on the river with the rest of her dragon boat team and currently lives with her scruffy rescue mutt, Professor Truffles.
