Smith & Yarn is a new collaborative project from renowned Oregon family artists Aaron Nigel Smith (a GRAMMY®-nominated reggae musician, teaching artist and nonprofit leader) and Red Yarn (a Texas-born family folk-rocker and puppeteer). In their performances and recordings, Smith & Yarn mix their signature styles of reggae, funk, folk, country and roots rock into a unique blend of sounds and cultural traditions. Their lyrics celebrate unity, activism and friendship with a warm and inviting ease.
