Strawbitty Yops is a family music project from Austin, Texas. Their high energy, interactive music invites the audience into the collective music making experience. With songs focusing on love, acceptance and social justice issues they create affirming music that invites conversations. Multi-Instrumentalists, they are not defined by a specific genre. The mission is community building through music.
Their second album, “What Does Love Look Like?” was recognized as one of the top eleven albums of the year for families, by the School Library Journal. They also have multiple songs as finalists in the Resilient Child Media Awards. They perform their inclusive sets all around Austin and New York where they perform their “Pride Family Rainbow Party” shows every summer.
