If you need to travel to Portland come by means of airplane, bus, or train and you’ll have several ways to come to the festival without the expense of renting a car.

In all cases you will simply need to take the light rail to the Gateway MAX station and then we’ll take you for free directly to the Pickathon using a 47 person Bio-Diesel shuttle bus, which will run hourly for the whole time the gates are open including 3 hours on Sunday morning.

One can still camp onsite using the shuttle bus option or you if you prefer a Hotel we recommend the only Oregon green seal certified Hotel. The Doubletree Hotel is located very close to both Pickathon and Downtown Portland. Because of its location next to the Portland MAX light rail one can get to the Doubletree from a plane or train without the need for a taxi or rental car.
