Danny Barnes : Master of Post Punk-Indie-Old Time-Jazz-Rock-Folk Songwriting
Tuesday June 5, 2007

Danny Barnes brings something different to the stage every-time you see him play, and very few, if any, musicians can pull off switching styles better than he does.

Danny Barnes is an iconic influence on so many countless musicians from all types of genres. You probably have heard him play and not realize it assuming you know one of the many ensembles he has been a part of including: founding the seminal Austin based band – Bad Livers – and currently touring regularly as part of Tim O’Brien Band, Bill Frisell Band, and the Robert Earl Keen Band.

We can’t exactly tell you what style of music to expect from the Danny Barnes Collective in 2007 but we can tell you that it will be good, and you definitely won’t forget it.

Below is a great video of the song – Man vs. Fate, 2 out of 3 Falls, Ten Round Limit – from the 2006 Pickathon.
