Named after Townes Van Zandt, and calls American songwriting rebel/legend Steve Earle ‘dad’, Justin Townes Earle has lyrics and cord progressions running wild through his veins. Starting 2008 fast out of the gate releasing his first record with Bloodshot, and currently touring the good ‘ol U.S. with both the Felice Brothers and McCarthy Trenching. No doubt will this lad get a good amount of attention with his first supported attempt in the industry, it’s poetic, eclectic, and everything anyone would want in a good country record (circa 2008). Couldn’t be happier to have Justin and his band at this years Pickathon and if in the Northwest you’re in luck..and have little time to wait to see it live before this summer:
