Joe Pug tells us what it’s like…
Thursday February 26, 2009

…to be Joe Pug.
Finding new videos out there on the internets is a real treat when mulling over ideas and topics for the daily post here at Pickathon HQ, it’s no easy task I must say… This gem came by way of the early morning surf around I like to call “research time”. Friends, and contributing blogger Oz at hearya.com put this one up, and now i will do the same. Oh, and if not one that frequents the pages of hearya.com I strongly suggest you check these folks out, as they are certainly one of the only other sites out there that is this much in tune with the music that surrounds Pickathon. Lots of great content, live sessions, videos, and some seriously funny writing on occasion.
O.K….now back to the subject at hand. For those that know Joe Pug this is a glimpse of what is to come with his upcoming release (tba), and possibly a little insight on when we will be able to see Joe + Band (for those that do not live in Chicago, where Joe calls home). This video also does a good job of explaining a bit on what it is like for these folks that get out there and make their voices heard, and ideally attract fans along the way. If Joe Pug is new to you make sure and take him up on the free EP sampler that he talks about in the video – he’ll send them to you, and likely lick the stamps himself.
Joe, we are with you my friend..and thanks for choosing music, and putting the playwright idea on hold (at least for now).
