Check out the latest collaboration between Portland chefs, local makers, and Pickathon artists! This episode explores the southern bayou with Lost Bayou Ramblers + takes a look at Portland’s own Stumptown Coffee Roasters.

The new Curation episode is here! We travel around Portland with Chef John Berube + learn a thing or two about where our coffee comes from via Stumptown Coffee Roasters… THEN we head down South to Louisiana hang out in Cajun Country with the Lost Bayou Ramblers. They’ve got some powerful thoughts on sustainability, heritage, and some fun tips for how to play Cajun music. “How many musics that have been around for 100 years stay popular?” they ask. Cajun music is still going strong today and the Ramblers brought some intense sets to Pickathon last year, even with fiddler Louis Michot’s foot in a cast! They joined up with Chef John Berube at Radar in Portland for their Pickathon Curation dinner. John brought some New Orleans flavor to the dinner, cooking up crawfish pie, and grillades and grits, two Big Easy specialities. The crawfish even flew in from Louisiana for the dinner!

Stay tuned… we’ll have an exciting batch of Curation Events announced for our 2019 festival weekend. New chefs+ artists + local maker collaborations!

Don’t miss out!
