Pickathon is excited to announce our partnership with Portland’s NW Documentary for a 10 day documentary filmmaking workshop! NW Doc students will be highlighting some of our unsung heroes, the Pickathon kitchen. Students will have onsite instruction and support from NW Doc’s team of local documentary filmmakers as they film our kitchen through the hectic festival experience. 

Join NW Documentary at The Pickathon Music Festival in Happy Valley, Oregon for 10 days of documentary filmmaking adventures! Participants have the opportunity to produce (plan, practice, shoot, edit) professional-grade documentary films centered around Pickathon’s handpicked culinary partners.

You will craft your farm-to-table narrative, both from inside the kitchens, and on the farms that produce the food, interviewing all the players along the way. Final projects will be be published on Pickathon’s official channels.
