Pickathon is for kids of all ages… whether you’re just starting out, or refuse to grow up, Pendarvis Farm is the place for you. We’ve watched many of you get older – one Pickathon at a time – attending each year with your family. As we’ve grown older too, it’s been important to nurture and encourage families to keep this connection within our community.

As we know, Kids 12 and under are free when coming to Pickathon with the family, and teens 13-17 are 1/2 price when attending for the weekend.

Make Pickathon YOUR families summer highlight and join us August 1st through 4th…

Check out this years Kids Lineup + peek over at the Wild Horse Stage schedule.

In the Wild Horse Tent:

Come by the Wild Horse Tent any time from morning to evening for interactive music performances and workshops for the whole family. Performers will include Portland “kindie” favorites Aaron Nigel Smith, Ants Ants AntsJessa Campbell & the Saplings, Mo Phillips, Red Yarn, KiLoFri (ft. Mr. Ben & Zazzy Zoe), Tallulah’s Daddy & I See the Moon. Members of Blind Pilot & the Horsenecks will perform in an “only at Pickathon” supergroup, Snake Farm Family Band, and rising Portland rapper [E]mpress will do a special family set. Youth performers include Portland School of Rock and a Teen Open Mic. The Rowdy Pony Busker Stage will feature special acoustic performances – including folk duo Hearth & Hymn and music & puppets with Acorn Dog – as well as opportunities for kids to show off their skills.

Each morning will begin with Family Yoga & Movement with teacher Shawna O’Neal. Music Together will offer a chance for families with children 5 and under (older siblings welcome!) to experience the joy of family music making through songs, movement, and instrumental experimentation. My Voice Music will host ukulele and songwriting lessons, jam and open mic sessions, a talent show, and free ukulele rentals! Throughout each day around the Wild Horse tent, skilled volunteers will lead storytimes, arts & crafts activities, and interactive experiences with BSD Future Bus and Learning Landscapes.

More classes + signup info coming soon from Trackers Earth, Cedarwood Waldorf School, and City Repair.
