Work Trade at Pickathon is more than volunteering.

If you’ve volunteered with us in the past, welcome back! If you’re new here, howdy and hello. We are thrilled to have you.

Our work traders are essential collaborators who help build the festival from the ground up, from designing and constructing our legendary spaces to keeping things flowing during the weekend itself. This year, our work trade program continues its partnership with Creative Neighborhoods, a nonprofit initiative supporting young creatives and skilled tradespeople, with even more benefits for our community.

We also want to take a moment to share some news about Pickathon’s film crew. Due to the financial realities of a post-pandemic world, we won’t have our full film production in 2026, and there will not be a film crew volunteer opportunity this year. We’re actively working to bring it back in 2027. Read the full update here.

All work traders must be 18 years or older, and spots do fill up, so if you’re interested in joining us this year, we’d love to have you.
