Alicia Markee — Alicia brings nearly six years of experience, much of it in injury-recovery work at a chiropractic office. She offers Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release.
Aspen Johnson — Aspen offers Swedish massage and craniosacral therapy with gentle to medium-firm techniques that guide the body into a dreamlike state. Her work is especially good for nervous-system tension and neck, shoulder, back, or jaw pain.
Bryan Warren — A graduate of East West College with four years in a chiropractic setting, Bryan specializes in deep tissue, myofascial release, cupping, and prenatal massage, blending anatomical knowledge with intuitive, restorative touch.
Carol “Caz” Duncan — Caz pairs clinical knowledge with trauma-informed care, drawing on deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial techniques, cupping, and Thai-style bodywork. They work with everyday clients and athletes alike to ease movement and recovery.
Connie Landers — Owner of Soul Glow Massage & Bodywork in Portland, Connie tailors each session using Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point, and neuromuscular techniques, specializing in reducing tension and easing chronic discomfort.
Dez Pebenito — A Portland LMT at Living Altar Wellness with a doctorate in Chinese Medicine, Dez works through shiatsu, tui na, craniosacral, and visceral manipulation to release tension and settle the nervous system. Sessions can be done fully clothed.
Dodie Davey — Dodie (they/them) has practiced biodynamic massage, craniosacral therapy, reiki, and acupressure for seven years, working from a trauma-informed perspective that lets the body guide each session.
Em Fensterman — Em blends focused deep work with breath and movement, using myofascial release, neuromuscular and trigger point therapy, and craniosacral therapy. Their collaborative sessions target pain while engaging the nervous system in healing.
Gretchen Hogue — For over 20 years Gretchen has offered intuitive bodywork at her SE Portland studio, Akasa Thai Healing Arts, integrating Thai massage and biodynamic cranial work to unwind stuck patterns and restore mobility.
Joseph “Winnie” LaDu — Winnie offers a calm, grounded presence, drawing on myofascial release, Swedish massage, craniosacral, and biodynamic massage. He pairs therapeutic touch with deep listening to help you rest and reconnect.
Nika Short — Based in Bend, Nika came to massage in 2017 after a decade as a wilderness educator. She specializes in injury assessment using deep tissue, trigger point, and neuromuscular techniques, alongside craniosacral therapy and reiki.
River Forbes — Practicing since 2022 with a focus on accident recovery and chronic conditions, River offers full-body Swedish relaxation, targeted deep tissue, myofascial release, and their specialty, craniosacral therapy. This is their first year in the Refuge!
Ryan Beam — A proud East West College graduate, Ryan works with presence, specificity, and consent, flowing between myofascial release, deep tissue, postural analysis, Muscle Energy Techniques, and cupping. His goal is for you to feel empowered in your body.
Savanna Wonderwheel — Savanna has spent over 12 years exploring listening through touch, offering biodynamic massage and craniosacral therapy. Her work is a sanctuary for deep rest, presence, and ease.
Shea Lloyd — Learning the craft since 1999, Shea combines soothing relaxation with deep tissue, joint mobilization, and cupping in a safe, nurturing, judgment-free space tailored to your needs.
Tessa Waring — With eight years of experience, Tessa offers Swedish massage, deep tissue, and myofascial release. Whether you want to bliss out or work a problem area, each session is tailored to you.
