BEND CIDER CO. was born November 2019 “We had a vision to start a cider company when we met, a locals spot- with really, really great DRY -Semi Sweet hard cider, we built the cider building together, we planted the apple orchard (with specialty apples) together and it’s only natural that we start this company together!” They are taking it a step further and placing a focus on conservation, highlighting a different threatened/endangered species on each of their cans and giving a percentage of sales back to environmental education. BEND CIDER CO. is a botanically focused cider company, with every flavor having a botanical element in it to complement the apple profile.
Cider maker Kelly Roark was born and raised in Newberg, Oregon. After graduating with his biology degree from Pacific University, Kelly pursued wildlife biology while developing a passion for cider making. Once Kelly decided to shift gears and turn his passion into a business, his community was right there to support. “We are so grateful for the love and hope you enjoy the cider”.
