Dan Yaker

Originally from Albuquerque, Dan Yaker is a Portland-based DJ who has been busy collecting records and playing them for friends since 2007. His style reflects a life-long love of hip-hop and electronic music, tracing their roots through his deep collection of vintage funk, soul, disco and jazz, paying homage to those who came before him. He is a crate-digger by trade but never lets a track’s rarity come before moving the crowd. Whether it’s setting a laidback atmosphere at natural wine bar Daydream, or bringing the party vibe poolside at the Soho House, he’s in his element wherever he’s got a turntable and records.
