DJ Honest John is a Portland-based party curator with roots in Miami who brings the heat wherever his needle drops. His sets weave together funky disco, bouncy boogie, and more smooth grooves to keep dance floors moving. A vinyl devotee with an ear for the unexpected, John has hosted Savage Beat on XRAY FM since 2015 and holds down regular spots at Portland staples including Gold Dust Meridian, LaVerne’s, Daydream, your best friend’s wedding, and secret New Year’s Eve parties at the beach. He’s thrilled to be back at Pickathon, bringing the tropical vibes to Pendarvis Farm.
