Flor Violenta is a Portland-based DJ spinning cumbia and other latin sounds for the dancefloor, moving between psychedelic, tropical, and electronic styles while highlighting new interpretations rooted in traditional rhythms.

Inspired by boundary-pushing acts like Meridian Brothers, they blend experimental textures with classic cuts for a sound that feels both fresh and grounded.

They are the force behind Cumbia House Party, featured in Portland Mercury’s New Year’s Eve picks, and a former host of Vinyl Pleasures Radio on Freeform Portland.
