Brooklyn based Prince Klassen learned from their late 90s beginnings that music and art do not have to be linear in practice. Their foundation was House & Disco, then established a love for Turntablism, Hip Hop, Soul, & Jazz, and now finds peace in multi-genre offerings. With former radio residencies on NY’s The Lot Radio & London’s Soho Radio each respective show, Wild Combination & Shared Time, explored long form mixes with an emphasis on deeper listening. These explorations led to record releases on Japan’s Daily Sessions Records & bookings in some of Brooklyn’s foundational private loft spaces, Cedar Room & Musicland. PK has more liberated sounds coming this Summer with a new 12″ & 45 releasing on JustWhatTheWorldNeeds, and looks forward to dancing together under the stars.
