Shain Brenden is a comedian, writer, actor and pretty much solid guy. Born from a Filipino mother and Bahamian father, (explains his face), raised in the South, (explains his accent), top it all off with being a husband, father, and military veteran, Shain uses his life experiences and knack for storytelling to paint a picture of a man “just trying his best with what he has.” He was crowned Portland’s Funniest Person, dubbed an “Undisputable Genius of Comedy” by the Portland Mercury, and named one of Willamette Weekly’s “Funniest Five.”
As a stand up comic he’s made a name for himself performing all over the country at festivals such as: High Plains Comedy Festival, 10,000 Laughs, San Francisco Sketchfest, Laughing Skull and the Limestone Comedy Festival. He co-hosts a weekly podcast called ASSVILLE on the Helium Comedy Presents Network, and you can also hear him on “The Best of Helium Comedy Album Vol. 1,” Sirius XM radio, and wherever you stream music.
