spinitch is a Portland born-and-raised artist. Influenced by luminaries like Pete Rock, Edan and J-Live, spinitch is a “triple-threat” i.e. producer, MC, and DJ. His latest album “Run for the Arts,” a collaboration with Portland rapper Milc, released last summer. The LP, featuring underground stalwarts Open Mike Eagle and Blu among others, has streamed hundreds of thousands of times across platforms and sold out vinyl within a month. As a performer, spinitch has rocked local stages such as Mississippi Studios and Wonder Ballroom and has opened for legendary acts such as Cut Chemist, Blu & Exile, DJ Craze and more. An obsessive crate-digger of soul, funk, psych, hip-hop and beyond, he can be found spinning vinyl sets around town at Keys Lounge, Wax Social and Daydream.
