At Pickathon, families come first. That’s why we created the Coyote Neighborhood—a magical world for kids and their grownups to explore together. Now in its fourth year, Coyote is nestled in the woods above Cherry Hill and curated by beloved Portland kindie artist Red Yarn, alongside a dedicated team of artists and educators.

This year’s theme, Coyote Cove, transforms the area into a vibrant estuary inspired by the Oregon Coast. Led by Captain Coyote, young festival-goers will help guide the salmon back upstream through imaginative play, art installations, and interactive storytelling. New partner Making Earth Cool will help bring the neighborhood to life with a giant salmon run puppet parade on Sunday afternoon.

The Coyote Stage features music and performances designed for kids and families, Friday through Sunday!
