The Farmhouse Neighborhood is where your Pickathon journey begins—and ends. For 2025, this iconic entry point is reimagined as UPSTREAM | DOWNSTREAM, a striking new installation brought to life by GBD, Andersen Construction, and McFadin Design-Build. A sinuous timber-and-fabric structure rises from the hush of the riverbank, moving with the wind and shifting underfoot. It’s alive with rhythm, shadow, and texture—mirroring the salmon’s journey and the emotional flow of a weekend at Pickathon: anticipation, reflection, lift, and release. As you arrive or depart, you pass through this sculptural portal—an immersive first impression and a lasting memory—embodying Pickathon’s connection to nature, creativity, and sustainability. Materials from the build will be repurposed post-festival to support local food banks and community gardens, ensuring that the energy of your arrival lives on.
Just past the orchard and home to the beloved Galaxy Barn, Farmhouse is the connective tissue between the outside world and the festival magic within. Whether you’re stepping off the shuttle, arriving by bike, catching a ride, or getting dropped off, all paths lead through the Farmhouse gate. Here’s where you’ll collect your wristband, reunite with friends, and take your first breath of the festival atmosphere. It’s also Pickathon’s central transportation hub: the designated drop-off point for shuttles, rideshares, and cyclists alike. New in 2025 is an upgraded shuttle lounge—no more waiting in the sun under a tent. Instead, enjoy a shaded, artfully designed space to pause, reflect, and recharge.
The Farmhouse Neighborhood isn’t just a point of entry—it’s a threshold into something transformative. On your way in, it’s a celebration of arrival. On your way out, it’s a quiet moment to gather your things, take a breath, and hold onto the memories. And when you see the UPSTREAM | DOWNSTREAM structure—alive with motion and meaning—you’ll know you’re exactly where you need to be.
