Tucked deep in the forest, the Refuge is a sanctuary where wellness meets nature. Giving reverence to the idyllic forest protected by the Pendarvis family, Plus and Greater Than’s biophilic design with build led by Peter Mangano, draws you into a lush landscape filled with possibility. It is Pickathon’s dedicated space for healing, relaxation, and quiet reflection.

Discover a rich lineup of experiences designed to soothe the soul: sound healing, breathwork, plant meditation, ambient music, movement classes, and creative workshops. This year’s theme invites us to be pollinators of compassion, spreading peace and presence across the Farm.

Need to reset? Slip away for a massage under the trees or rinse off in our hand-built cedar showers. Stop by the Apothecary by The Herb Shoppe for herbal wellness products, or sip on tea from Smith Tea and Blue Lotus Chai at the Atrium while you wait for your session.

Treat yourself to a 45-minute private massage under the trees with one of our trained therapists. It’s the perfect way to bring your dancing body back to life before another night of music. The Refuge is also a sober-friendly space, with daily Mindful Recovery groups at 3 PM & 9 PM. When the energy of the festival calls for a pause, the Refuge is where you’ll find your center.

Showers Under The Trees

Cool off, rinse off, or reset with hand-built cedar showers tucked in the forest.

Showers are open Thursday–Sunday from 6 AM–10 PM, and biodegradable soap is required.
Pricing: $10 off-peak / $14 peak (free for kids under 12 with a paying adult).

Please remember to bring your own towels. We ask that only biodegradable soap be used as our beloved tree friends will be drinking the greywater from your showers!

Yoga: Daily Sessions in the Barn and Courtyard

We’re thrilled to welcome back Pamela Sery, a Pickathon mainstay now celebrating her 18th year of teaching on the Farm. Pamela brings joyful energy and grounded wisdom to every practice, and her sessions are a beloved part of the Pickathon experience. Joining her are returning instructors Karli Janine Erickson, whose restorative and breath-centered flows struck a deep chord with attendees last year, and Danny Mezza, who offers energizing morning classes to awaken the body and refocus the mind. • The Lucky Barn – an intimate indoor sanctuary
• The Galaxy Barn Courtyard – a wide open-air space under the trees

Fun Runs with Sam Cox

Looking to get your blood flowing early? Join Sam Cox on Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 AM for morning fun runs through the Farm’s winding paths and wooded areas. Meet at the Windmill Stage and connect with other runners who love to start the day with movement, sweat, and camaraderie. All paces welcome!

Forest Hikes with Brett Sherman

Prefer a slower pace and deeper connection to nature? Join Brett Sherman for forest hikes on Friday and Saturday mornings at 8:00 AM, also meeting at the Windmill Stage. These peaceful walks are a chance to reflect, wake up your senses, and feel the grounding presence of Pendarvis Farm’s forested trails—many of which have remained untouched thanks to the stewardship of Scott and Sherry Pendarvis. Hikes include a gentle climb up to Scouter Mountain. Bring a water bottle, sturdy shoes, and a curious spirit.

Sober-Friendly Space

The Refuge is a sober friendly space. We prioritize an environment where people can feel comfortable and accepted without the pressure to use intoxicants and everyone is invited! We host two Mindful Recovery support groups each day and have peers available at night to be present with you. Whether you’re sober, sober-curious, or just looking for a new perspective on your recovery, you’re invited to join us.
