One of the aspects that people feel is unique to Pickathon is how accessible the festival can be for families.

We are reminded of this each year as we begin putting the final touches on the kids schedule. In 2013 we will see a newly improved kids area that will be centrally located in the main venue, we are excited about this and will have more to share on that soon…

Stay tuned for an early July announcement of our complete Kids at Pickathon 2013! schedule. Featuring a great mix of shows, classes, and activities with folks like Cardboard Songsters, Diane Ferlatte, Cat Doorman, Trackers Earth, Circus Cascadia, Cedarwood Waldorf School, Music Together, and City Repair.

Pickathon has always been a ‘kids 12 and under are free’ type of festival and we feel the weekend can be a great alternative to any other typical family vacation. Affordable and Tasty Food? Showers? Free Drinking Water? Oregon Craft Beer, Wine, Cider, Liquor?

Pickathon has you covered. Gather up the family (maybe consider a sitter) and we’ll see you in August.
