Denise Souza Finney is a Southern Oregon artist. Working in acrylic paint she explores movement and the idea of what’s coming next in her figure paintings and poppy pieces.

She and her family have been coming to Pickathon since it’s starter days at Horning’s Hideout.

Starting her artistic career as a dancer, music has been a huge contributor to her art and is central to creative movement. It plays a similar role in painting and influences the sense of rhythm, layers and storytelling in her pieces.
