Curated by Libby Brown and Lindsay Love, the Refuge Neighborhood is a sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation. Nestled in the shade of the forest, this wellness hub features pillow-laden resting areas and offers six daily activations with nearly a dozen collaborators and practitioners.

Experience foot rubs, showers, and comfortable breastfeeding nooks. This year’s theme, “A Thousand Paper Cranes for Peace and Prosperity,” features origami wishes, pre-made cranes, and a wishing wall with 2,000 cranes.

This tranquil forest retreat offers massages, sound therapy, and spaces to decompress and re-center. Adorned with florals, aromatic plants, and botanical weaving walls, it provides a sensory delight that calms the mind and soul. The area also includes reading nooks, a rustic lending library, and a performance stage for intimate, relaxing sessions.

Meditation, Sound Baths & Sound Healing

Find your inner peace with guided meditation sessions and immersive sound baths, perfect for calming the mind and grounding yourself amidst the festival’s energy. Surrender to a soothing sound journey where harmonic frequencies will help you relax, heal, and transcend the ordinary.

Showers, Cold Plunge & Massage

Showers and massage in the Refuge Neighborhood are brought to you by Libby Brown and Lindsay Love. The public can receive paid massages from some of the best masseurs and masseuses in the Northwest, open from 8am to 8pm. Bringing the river to Pickathon, enjoy the trendy and healing benefits of cold plunges. Treat your mind and body with care and attention while being immersed in a forest bathing of the Refuge Neighborhood.

Jenna, Present Path Tarot

Readings offer insights into how to best navigate to your best life from the highest self. Jenna’s style comes with warm humor, compassionate sensitivity, and a direction toward positive potentials. She has been described by her clients as an authentically channeled intuitive who brings fresh energy to the situations before you. LGBTQ+ Friendly. All are Welcome.

Bex Nicholes & Melody Christensen, Sound Bath

Let us take you on a sound healing with a unique blend of crystal singing bowls and violin. Melody Grace is an experienced reiki master energy healer harnessing the universal life energy with crystal singing bowls. Bex Beloved is a multi-genre violinist who uses soaring bow strokes and gentle plucks to create a unique meditative soundscape. Together they create Liminal Glow. Sound healing works by using specific sound frequencies to stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms. When we are exposed to sound, our brain waves entrain to the frequency of the sound, which can promote relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote physical healing.

Deb O’Connor, Energy/stretch class

Come and join our Energy Stretch class to open your mind, body, and soul. We’ll use a combination of stretches both small and large, breathwork, energy boosting movements, and acupressure to balance energetic flow, open the body, and create space in your being for joy and vitality. It’s a perfect way to bring all of YOU present to not only make you feel wonderful, but also enhance your experience at Pickathon!

Megan Barella, Art

Let’s gather, nature weave and create community together. You’re invited to create your very own nature weaving to take home and remember Pickathon all year long. Have fun designing these pieces with found wood, biodegradable twine, and found flowers and leaves. Everyone’s an artist and welcome to join us!
