We would like to invite you to another Work Party at Pendarvis Farm Saturday, June 22nd from 10am to 6pm. This time around, our focus will be cleanup and repair at our beloved Woods Stage, hazard tree removal and pulling blackberries on the terraces. This will be our last work party before we start setting up in July!

Pickathon work parties are a great way to make new friends, let off some steam from the work week, become part of the Pickathon/Pendarvis Farm community, help out, and get back to nature.

If you plan on bringing some friends, please include the # of people and their names (or have them contact Biggs directly)!

Please check in at the Galaxy Barn (the red one) when you arrive on Saturday morning to get placed on a task. We’ll have coffee, tea and some snacks, but you’ll want to pack a lunch (or visit a nearby grocery store). Carpooling is strongly encouraged due to limited parking spaces in the off season.

What to Bring?

• Appropriate clothing: Work gloves, Boots/closed-toe shoes, change of clothes, etc

• Tools: Bring ’em if you got ’em! Bow saws, loppers, shovels, hard rakes, cordless screw guns and vice grips will be most suited for the day’s work. For liability reasons, please do not bring your own chainsaw(s)- Most of the work will be done by hand.

• Canteen/water bottle

• Food and drink

• Your positive attitude and witty charm

• A friend (or more!)

• As cute as they are, no dog friends, please
