Curation Lineup: Your Guide to Farm-to-Table Eats & Beats at Pickathon 2024
We welcome you to elevate your Pickathon experience with this exclusive, intimate culinary respite in the woods. Curation brings together an array of Portland’s top chefs who are paired with select artists from Pickathon’s exceptional music lineup for beautifully orchestrated family-style dinners and brunches under the tree canopy. Tickets are on sale now and are limited to 80 seats for each meal!
Each Curation chef is hand-picked from Portland’s world-renowned culinary scene, and they’re paired with festival artists in spectacular combinations. The basis for Curation is for each chef and the matching artist to discover how amazingly talented the others are while this magic happens in front of a live dinner and/or brunch crowd. The results are stunning, and an absolute standout experience amongst the special offerings at Pickathon.

Curation Lineup Event Details
Each Curation event at Pickathon lasts two hours, starting with appetizers and drinks from the featured bartender and vinyl mixology from one of our specialist Pickathon DJs. Attendees then enjoy an intimate performance by the guest artist paired with the Curation chef, followed by a multi-course meal conceived and designed for the event. The table is set under the forested greenery of Pendarvis Farm, creating a festival within a festival.

- Lauren Breneman & John Boisse of Astral PDX: Chefs – Lauren Breneman and John Boisse, founders of Astral PDX, a celebrated Mexican restaurant in Portland, known for their innovative and delectable creations.
- Chef Kelsey Miguel of Not Umami’s Cooking: Chef – Kelsey Miguel, the culinary talent behind Not Umami’s Cooking, known for her unique take on Japanese American bites and custom, delectable meals.
- Chef Luna Contreras of Chelo PDX: Chef – Luna Contreras, inspired by her Guadalajaran grandmother, creates bold and powerful Mexican cuisine at Chelo PDX, focusing on community-building and high-quality ingredients.
- Chef Rodney Muirhead of Podnahs : Chef – Podnah’s Barbecue, Portland’s original craft barbecue joint, specializing in central Texas smoked meats since 2006. B

- Dean Johnson: Artist – Talented musician with a soulful voice, blending folk, blues, and rock into captivating and heartfelt performances.
- Pahua: Artist – Mexican composer, percussionist, DJ, and producer, blending Caribbean and folkloric beats with electronic music, creating a unique and captivating sound.
- Elephant Revival: Artist – Folk music group from Colorado, blending Scottish/Celtic fiddle tunes, original folk, bluegrass, and indie rock, known for their “transcendental folk” style.
- Soul Rebel Brass Band: Artist – Eight-piece New Orleans-based brass ensemble, blending soul, jazz, funk, hip-hop, rock, and pop music, known for their explosive stage presence and dynamic collaborations.
Sneak Peek at Curation Neighborhood!
Beyond providing a cool, welcome respite under a canopy of trees, Curation aims to bring a refined culinary experience back to the farm table, paired with a local chef and musical artist(s). This year’s design team, in collaboration with Jen Rich of Rich Earth Designs, is creating spaces for gathering that make you feel as cozy as your grandma’s porch. For those who choose a dinnertime experience, the gradual transformation into a warmly lit woodland dance floor will make leaving the hardest part of the evening.
