1-800-WHITTAKER is a local DJ & the owner of the NE Portland record store Music History. Donned a “music archeologist” by KMHD DJs, Whittaker has been traveling the world since his early 20s in search of unearthed musical gems, new & old, from Istanbul to Tokyo. Geoff brings these international sensibilities to his DJ sets, fusing them with dancefloor classics & lesser known gems, spanning every genre under the sun from salsa to R&B. For Pickathon, he will be bringing a mix of R&B, funk, disco, house, & latin sounds.
